My name is Vaidas Karnickas and I am leading the Purchasing Team in Telia Global Services Lithuania. With over 500 teammates in IT, network, analytics, software development, procurement, HR, and finance operations, we are the Telia Company‘s competency hub working to ensure group digitalization agenda across the Nordics and Baltics.
 

Purchasing Team is responsible for operational support, collaboration with internal colleagues, and making sure that the overall buying process in the company is effectively executed.
Right now, I am looking for a Sourcing Specialist in Vilnius.

Your next challenge?

To excel in the Sourcing Specialist role, you need to be an analytical thinker, have very high attention to detail, be motivated by challenges and new opportunities, have great communication skills, and preferably have previous experience in the field. You will also need to master cross-country collaboration challenges and participate in building a service-oriented team to deliver on expectations in time, with quality and expected business results.

Your tasks will be:

  • Handling operational activities (Purchase requisitions validation, Purchase Order changes and follow-up, Contract implementation, Catalogues implementation and follow-up, resolving tickets etc.);

  • Understanding the overall end-to-end process;

  • Closely collaborating with Sourcing Managers, Stakeholders, Accounts Payable team, and other departments;

  • Reporting and escalating issues and/or challenges (if any);

  • Staying on the look-out for opportunities to simplify processes and work in more efficient way;

  • Moving from executing to becoming a trusted advisor.

Who are you?

  • Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken;

  • Have great collaboration skills;

  • Are a real team player and have a collaborative mentality;

  • Are creative and innovative, have a proactive and solution-oriented approach;

  • Have experience working with Microsoft utilities (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.);

  • Have experience working in an international environment and/or already demonstrated your skills in similar roles (purchasing or operations);

  • Are always happy to celebrate achieved successes while not losing hunger for achieving even more;

  • Are ready for new opportunities and challenges!

Working in this position you will receive a monthly base salary of 1600 Eur (gross) plus annual bonuses, depending on your competencies and your and Telia results.
