Job Description

− Responsible to manage, motivate and train the culinary staff and provide Residents and Guests with the highest quality Western cuisine.
− Must be familiar with cooking techniques for the following cuisines: French & Italian & Mediterranean
− This includes all practices, procedures, training and resident/guest satisfaction levels.
− Ensure effective communication with staff through daily line-ups. These meetings are to have a set agenda and not be held during meal periods.
− Conduct continuous training to the Galley personnel on cooking techniques (all basic cooking techniques) and ensure these trainings are documented.
− Ensure that all established recipes are posted in all galleys and that all Galley personnel adhere to them at all times
− Exceed Resident and Guest expectations of food and beverage quality and service.
− Responsible for supporting the assigned galleys budgetary guidelines.

Requirements

− BA/BS 2-3 year Culinary degree or foreign equivalency and/or 3 years of culinary management experience
− Able to read, write and speak fluently in English and does so at all times while on duty
− Three years of experience in a 5 Star Luxury Hotel Restaurant and/or Cruise Line is preferred
− Advanced Certification in Sanitation and Public Health procedures.

Monthly salary (gross): 3500.00 to 4000.00 EUR
Additional information: $Net Salary + Excellent bonus structure
