Position: Sea Freight Manager


Target: to manage and perform service procurement, operations, customer service and sales related to containerized sea freight forwarding activities of KTA VNO in Lithuania and AAA MSQ in Belarus, to maintain a quality performance of KTA and AAA activities in Lithuania and Belarus.

Job profile:

Procurement

• Interacting with local and foreign providers of Konekta Group
  
• Negotiating with existing and potential providers
  
• Maintaining good relations with shipping lines, port agents, hauliers, and other providers.
  
• Creation and promotion of new sea freight products on Lithuanian and Belarusian markets
  

Sales, customer service and operations

• Sales of Konekta Group sea freight forwarding services:
  
• Exploring, quantifying and gaining new business and new accounts in targeted markets;
  
• Maintaining key accounts and existing accounts to generate profitable growth, achieving sales budget and realizing longer term and sustainable relationships;
  
• Report and monitor on competitive activity, market research (both customer and competitor aspects)
  
• Responding speedily to enquiries from customers, preparing offers to customers in accordance with the business standards of Konekta Group
  
• Following up daily issues with customers
  
• Customer visits
  
• Technical advice
  
• Administration of bookings/reservations and all work in connection therewith
  
• Transportation documents
  
• Providing tracking information and POD’s
  

Others:

• Contribute to the improvement of KTA Group quality and standards
  
• Performing other missions on management request
  
• Maintaining business documentation files in order
  
• Invoicing to the customers and partners
  
• Liaison and coordination with port authorities, terminals, handling agents of the issues related to the service to customer cargoes
  
• Activity reports

Reikalavimai

• Customer focused, results driven
  
• Good command of written and spoken English (reading and writing e-mail and fax messages, answering requests by phone, maintaining business conversation)
  
• IT literacy, experience with Microsoft Office (MS World, Excel)
  
• Experience in sea freight forwarding
