SQL Developer/Designer

Your next challenge?

I am looking for a person who has experience in SQL engineering, architecture and is a quick learner with a very wide technical background in data platform, data acquisition, data management and analysis layers. You will work across businesses in a fast-paced, team environment developing data mesh and data engineering solutions to power the diagnostic and descriptive analytics needed to solve Telia's most difficult problems. As well as work with Data Scientists to feed their machine learning models and unlock predictive and prescriptive analytics. You will play the role of trusted advisor, working to transform data into business insights, and describing complex ideas concisely and accurately.

Who you are?

You are a person who has a broad data warehousing experience. You are an innovative thinker and passionate in pursuit of world-class data technology, have a very wide technical understanding of data development process and solutions, strong business communication skills. I expect you adhere to the following requirements:

• Be proficient in Gathering and analyzing the requirements and preparing business rules
• Analyze existing database, create new normalized design and create/migrate new MS SQL server database and port existing data
• Create and support development of SQL queries various views to support the development teams and businesses
• Define reporting and data requirements. Translate requirements to functional and technical design
• Develop and maintain ETL mappings to extract the data from multiple source systems like Oracle, SQL server, SAP, SAS and Flat files and load into SQL server
• Stored Procedures, Functions, Views and Triggers, Complex SQL queries using SQL Server
• Work in all phases of Data warehouse development and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Integrate data sources with relational databases like Oracle, MS SQL Server, files into the staging area, ODS, Data Warehouse and Data Mart
• Create data dictionary, reports and documentation
• Considerable knowledge of information systems technology management, data warehousing, and analytics technologies; of large data repositories and/or relational databases; of business intelligence tools; of SAP BW, Linux, Hadoop and SQL Server environments; and of the analysis, design and development of data warehouses, working with large data repositories and/or relational databases
• Deep Experience in couple of technologies would be beneficial, SAP BW, BODS, BO, SAS Viya, MSSQL, Hadoop, Data cataloging tools, Metadata tools, ETL tools, Cloud platforms and tooling and etc.

We offer a monthly base salary from 2000 Eur (gross) to 4000 Eur (gross) depending on your experience. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
