Job Description
• 1st and 2nd level support of developers and users in a complex environment based on Sun Solaris and other third-party and open source software
• Identification of the problem, its solving or escalation
• Close work with the third level support, application and package developers, and other teams
• Packaging application software under Sun Solaris for use in a production environment, evaluation and analysis of the application and its installation process with regard to system behaviour and security

Requirements
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of English
• Good knowledge of Sun Solaris including internal configuration and system commands
• Sun Admin 1 and Sun Admin 2 would be advantage
• Working knowledge of networking
• Basic knowledge of Bourne/Korn shell programming
• Basic knowledge of Sun hardware
• Working knowledge of name services (NIS+/LDAP)
• Basic knowledge of system-level software (Volume managers, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand a Perl script
• Able to adapt Solaris and its infrastructure to changing requirements
• Working knowledge of the Open Source software configuration, building, and packaging process under Solaris, and subsequent maintenance and patching
• Good knowledge of English
