Supply Chain Process Development Team Manager

Right now, we are looking for a challenge hungry supply chain process development team manager to support building supply chain excellence enabling Telia, its customers, suppliers and partners to take advantage of the opportunities and manage challenges the upcoming wide-scale digitalization brings. I am Hanno Eerme heading Supply Chain in Telia. We are responsible for supply chains of materials like consumer electronics (CE), customer premises equipment (CPE), Networks and B2B customer solutions/Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment to ensure that:

  • Telia shall meet and exceed where targeted customer expectations – creating competitive advantage and inspire customers,
  • utilize cross border and cross company synergies and global best practices to make sure above happens with competitive cost levels.

The supply chain process development manager is leading a small team of supply chain process managers acting as business owners with main focus to support ongoing digitalization and transformation for both processes and IT systems in Telia Lithuania.

In terms of priorities – adding value including ensuring customer delight comes very naturally first while removing waste as important second.

Despite the position being in Telia Lithuania in Vilnius it involves tight collaboration with Telia units in other countries to make sure the designed and implemented supply chain processes and IT systems are maximally aligned cross Telia’s Nordic and Baltic footprint.

Below we have listed more detailed examples of the challenges we offer to you:

  • Lead the team and colleagues in a change journey enabling them to grow and fulfil their dreams while delivering targeted improvements and results for the customers and company
  • Take part in building the strategy and roadmaps for Telia supply chains to enable Telia creating love by customers to increase or at least keep revenues and market share
  • Co-create relevant development, improvement and automation initiatives/projects, prioritize btw them, ensure they are aligned with initiatives from other units and functional areas, lead and execute those as business owner while keeping all stakeholders well informed about the progress
  • Agile development steering, business requirements creation and gathering, cross organizational alignment and testing for supply chain processes and involved systems end to end
  • Document, update, maintain and align descriptions of current and future “to be” supply chain processes and their connections with other process areas cross Telia countries and companies
  • Ensure relevant training materials and instructions to support the efficiency of day-to-day work in the processes, train and educate supply chain operations for agreed supply chain processed and ways of using systems
  • Support and challenge Telia units, companies and countries for supply chain operations with internal and external benchmark and best practice sharing

Your experience:

  • Over 5 years of relevant business experience from international change management and process development initiatives preferably for supply chains
  • Experience from process improvement in complex international companies including large IT systems
  • Great in leading, supporting, coaching and training colleagues
  • University or Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent education
  • Excellent communication in English (and Lithuanian) both written and spoken
