Supply Chain/OPEX Associate

The Supply Chain/OPEX Associate will be directly reporting to the Supply Chain Unit Manager and will have a dotted line to the Plant Manager.

1. Supply Chain:

· Vendors Contract Management – ensure efficient process of vendor’s contract management in line with Global Procurement requirements

· Inventory management – ensure effective inventory management, review existing processes and propose/drive improvements

· Supply Chain process improvements – review and propose/drive changes and improvements

· SOP’s management – review/align SOPs to improved processes2.

Operational excellence:

· Lead, organize, coordinate and control TEVA Baltics OPEX activities, prepares metrics reports for activities performed

· Responsible for OPEX system- take care of company OPEX culture, organize related trainings, analyses company processes, propose improvements, plan, coordinate OPEX activities, assured that activities are implemented on time;

· Responsible for continuous improvement and significant efficiency improvements at the site

· Evaluate all existing news and external development, Teva global OPEX policies and SOP’s to ensure that TEVA Baltics will meet all OPEX and GMP requirements

· University degree in technical field or natural sciences

· Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles for the EU, US, and local environments in which TEVA Baltics distributes drug substance

· Knowledge and 3-5 years of experience applying the lean and operational excellence (OPEX) principles in regulated companies

· Ability to individually plan the activity, systematize data and summarize information

· Ability to perform the assigned task individually and through personal initiative

· Strong project management skills as well as coordination & communication skills

· Ability to lead in a matrix environment
