Job Description

You will support day-to-day internal and external customer/vendor needs in a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment located in Vilnius. You will perform system testing, trouble isolation and repair functions. You will work both independently as well as interface with various Company teams both in Lithuania, India and the US.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Interface with NOC, Provisioning, Development, Business Operations, Sales and other business units to understand and resolve customer/vendor anomalies within established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Execute test cases, collect data on faults and report root cause. Regularly assess progress of unresolved issues and provide status reports to management. Participate in alpha and beta coordination/support of new software releases and/or equipment. Review documentation material and provide input to solution design guides, etc.


  • University degree with 2+ years of relevant hands-on Telecommunications work experience
  • Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP concepts (MGCP, SDP, QOS) with exposure to SBC and Softswitch network elements Veraz/Sonus is a plus.
  • Hands-on provisioning and trouble isolation experience with SIP/TDM (ISUP/TCAP) on a live network
  • Strong networking background with experience in system level testing including test planning, test case design, test execution and test automation.
  • Working experience with test tools such as traffic analyzers (e.g., Sniffer, Ethereal) and traffic generation tools (e.g., Smartbits, IXIA). Experience with CVS, Clearcase, DDTs, Bugzilla, and test tools like Pagent, IXIA, Agilent is a plus.
  • Working knowledge in industry standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SNTP, NTP, DHCP, SNMP, Telnet, SSH, SSL, etc.).
  • Experience in any of TcL/Expect, Perl, Unix shell scripts and/or other scripting language is required.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills mandatory.
