Job Description
As a Surgical Product Specialist (Produktų Specialistas) at Covidien you will be an expert on our surgical product portfolio, responsible for launching new products, seeking new market opportunities for existing product lines and having responsibility for training the sales force.
You will provide strategic support and training courses for surgeons, theatre personnel and distributors and promote the Covidien brand in the region.
This position can be based in Lithuania/Latvia or Estonia. Travel across the region is required.

Principle accountabilities of a Product Specialist (Produktų Specialistas):
- Planning, implementation and monitoring of marketing strategies, line development, advertising and promotion of assigned product line.
- Participating in local and international meetings/exhibitions/conferences on specific items regarding product line of responsibility.
- Provide strategic support for training courses for surgeons, theatre personnel and product distributors
- Exploiting new market opportunities for existing product lines.
- Set up proper business/marketing strategies with maximum profitability, to ensure proper spending and samples control and effectiveness.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications of a Product Specialist (Produktų Specialistas):
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in medical device sales OR operating room experience
- Account management experience highly preferred
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivation skills and customer-focused attitude
- English language skills to business standard
- A willingness to travel throughout the territory
Preferred requirements:- Successful background in marketing/product marketing within medical devices sector
- University degree in scientific discipline (medical background preferable).
