Job Description

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be administrating Windows and Linux platforms residing in several data centers and offices worldwide.

Focus areas include:

• Execute daily, monthly and quarterly Windows Systems Administration tasks
  
• Serves as a System Administrator installing, testing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems (Windows
  

and Linux) including virtual environments

• Administers and configuring NFS, NTP, DNS etc. and administers Network Storage SAN and NAS storage devices
  
• Conduct Windows Server management tasks on Win Server 03 & 08, and Linux platforms
  
• Possess Virtualization configuration and deployment knowledge
  
• Conduct IT-Security on all Windows platform servers and desktops (office and data centers)
  
• Manage daily tasks on Windows desktop clients (Windows XP, Windows 7 etc.)
  
• Execute Back-up and Restores as required
  
• Responsible for initiating, monitoring, tracking and responding to critical alerts in order to ensure that company’s products maintain 99.999%
  

availability

• Execute Patch Management on Windows platforms
  
• Vendor management to include Data Center vendor Management
  
• Support a geographically diverse environment
  
• Management experience is highly desirable
  
• On-call 24x7 pager duties for emergencys
  
• Travel 25% of the time. Some internaltional travel is expected

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of Windows Systems Administration experience
  
• Must have Virtualization configuration and deployment knowledge
  
• Familiar with Linux environment
  
• Must have strong English language skills.
  
• Bachelors Degree in related field –Computer Science, Engineering and/or technical industry approved certifications
  
• Must be an independent professional, fast learning and possess excellent communication skills
  
• Experience in developing system specification documents for complex products
  
• Full exposure to producut lifecycle that include system specification, design, implementation, deployment, and operations
  
• Take control of a very dynamic demand work environment
