We are looking for a welding engineer who can supervise the welding activities at three manufacturing sites.

Material engineering assessments associated with welding.
Preparation / maintenance of procedures together with the welding coordinators.
Identify welding technical challenges and improvement points.
Welding technical support against manufacturing sites.
Process follow-up and monitoring.
Participate and provide input for development activities in welding and material technology.
Welding responsible management for all manufacturing sites.
Promote a quality and HSE-proven work set in all operations.

M.Sc./B. Sc./Eningeer, if possible with major in metallurgy.
International welding engineer (IWE)
Good knowledge of Norwegian and international standards relevant to the material discipline (NORSOK, EN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, DNVGL etc.).
Good knowledge of conventional fabrication methods, mechanical testing and NDT.
Experience from the industry, preferably offshore / subsea production.
Good communication skills in English internally and externally to customers. Knowledge of Norwegian language is a plus.
