Job Description

Purpose of the role is to lead a team of insurance claims specialists, who are responsible for setting up claims across all lines of business along with settlement of one touch claims within 2 hours. Function also includes the responsibility to ensure the performance is timely and efficient within the quality standards.

Evaluate and measure timeliness and quality of claims intake processes, ensuring acknowledgement of all claims within 2 hours, segmenting the claims into the correct claims office and providing the appropriate guidance to customers
Identify development opportunities within the team and provide appropriate training and mentoring
Ensure team’s understanding and importance of achieving goals and critical objectives
Provide updates and direction to team regarding results versus objectives to ensure continuous focus is maintained to achieve desired performance levels
Create and foster a service focused environment
Plan and manage workload, performance management, development and staffing
Escalate and consult with regional leadership decisions that may have a broader impact on the relationship with the client


Experience as a Supervisor/Manager for a team in a Call/ Operations/Shared Service Centre
Experience in performance reviews, performance improvement initiatives
Organizational skills with ability to plan, organize and delegate effectively in a fast paced environment
Excellent French and Dutch language skills is a must
English or Lithuanian language is required
Ability to build a team atmosphere that promotes excellent customer service culture
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely - verbally and in writing
Computer proficiency
