Job Description

Purpose of the role is to lead a team of insurance policy administrators and ensure the performance is timely and efficient within the quality standards.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of insurance policy administrators team
  • Implement initiatives and activities to engage and motivate staff
  • Execute plans to improve individual and team performance
  • Support, coach and manage a team
  • Supervise and monitor work load, quality and productivity of the team
  • Pro-actively resolve customer complaints
  • Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to the management team
  • Support product and process training for new team members
  • Ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures as stipulated by the business units
  • Proactively work with Shared Services senior management to understand forthcoming work volumes, new products, modifications to existing offering and cost drivers


Requirements

  • Experience as a Supervisor/Manager for a team in a Call/ Operations/Shared Service Centre
  • Experience in Insurance / Financial services industry is advantageous
  • Organizational skills with ability to plan, organize and delegate effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Good German and English languages is a must
  • Ability to build a team atmosphere that promotes excellent customer service culture
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely - verbally and in writing
  • Computer proficiency
