If you answered Yes to the questions above, then you may match the profile we are looking for to join our Services & Solutions team in TIA Technology as a TIA L&P Consultant.
About the Job
In the TIA Services & Solutions organization we work with a 360° view of our customers, engaging in customer services, consulting services and TIA solutions. TIA L&P is a separate component of the TIA Solution that extends TIA’s standard software suite with new modules specific to the life insurance business. As a TIA L&P Consultant you will engage in further development of the TIA L&P Solution. You will focus not only on developing the solution, but also actively support and consult our existing customers about it as well as implementing TIA L&P Solution for new customers.
Your tasks will include:
technical/functional design work, development, configuration and set up in relation to TIA L&P implementations
performing and advising customer’s upgrades to new versions of TIA L&P Solution
conducting technical/functional workshops
contributing to technical/functional documentation
consulting and supporting customers
continues improvement TIA L&P Core processes and functional capabilities

Requirements
You understand the difference between bespoke and standard solutions
and have experience with implementation of standard solutions applying
Agile and classical software implementation methods. You are able to
translate your knowledge into useful, practical advice.
Your analytical skills are excellent and you have a strong technical
background developing insurance solutions, working with Oracle-based
business applications and be professional in development using Oracle dev
suite (PL/SQL, Forms and WebLogic). It would be of a great advantage if
you have a practical experience working with web services (SOAP, WSDL,
XML, REST) and Java.
You have work experience from the IT and the L&P insurance sector and
experience with TIA solution is an absolute plus.
As a person you are a team player, outgoing and able to conduct yourself
in a professional manner. You are flexible and adapt easily to different
environments and cultures.
You have a relevant graduate degree – preferably in Financial and Actuarial
Mathematics, Software Engineering or similar. It is a requirement that you
are fluent in both written and spoken English.
