Validation Engineer (Fixed Term)

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Validation Engineer (fixed term contract until 2022-06-30) to join the Equipment Qualification Group based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the validation schedule and keep all equipment and processes in a qualified state to support ISO and/or GMP requirements;
• Preparation and execution of validation protocols;
• Supervising technicians, fitters, and contractors as required when external support is utilized for qualification activities;
• Creating/maintaining qualification-related records (e.g protocols, procedures, technical documentation, etc.).

• Mechanical/Automatic/Electronic/Information Technology or similar Engineering Degree;
• Proven problem-solving skills/diagnosing faults/resolving qualification issues;
• Excellent planning and time management ability;
• The ability to work independently and autonomously;
• Ability to read, write and interpret technical papers;
• Accuracy, Responsibility, Duty, Attentiveness;
• Knowledge of English language;
• Good understating of MS Office etc.;
• Qualification/Testing experience or working knowledge with manufacturing and laboratory equipment, clean rooms, or critical supporting systems, therefore job experience in a standard-regulated environment would be an advantage.
