Job Description

Lead team of IT audit experts at Luminor. This position is responsible for an independent architecture and security compliance audit. Designs and develops audit procedures, and reviews and evaluates work of subordinates within IT Audit and Validation team. Recommends and submits reports on identified corrections and controls in need of improvement.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead multinational team of IT audit experts.
  • Provide Business and IT management with guidance on architecture and IT security compliance matters, particularly on implementation status of architecture blueprints and IT security standards.
  • Conduct audits or lead audit team in performance of IT audits and reviews of systems, applications and IT security components. Prepare and report results to executives and Audit Committees. These include:
    • Perform pre and post- implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements.
    • IT security audits (e.g. network, operating system and data centre), including evaluating if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated. Coordinate the scope and performance of these reviews with business units and external security experts.
    • Evaluate information general computing controls and provide value added feedback. Test compliance with those controls. Coordinate with other teams as applicable.
    • Perform various other reviews of IT security policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery and information security to ensure that controls surrounding these processes are adequate.
  • Develop, build & implement tools to analyse data to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness, (including for risk assessments). Ultimately be a source for analytics that business units adopt to provide business insights or for continuous auditing.
  • Conduct audits or lead audit projects.
  • Evaluates the adequacy and timeliness of response and the corrective action taken on significant audit recommendations.
  • Organize, engage and motivate employees within your area of responsibility through building the strong team, coaching and holding direct reports accountable and developing talent in the architecture unit.
  • Contribute to team and company performance through effective networking, collaboration and leading through example.
  • Promote and support living the Luminor values and building the strong Luminor brand.

Additional tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate penetration tests.
  • Drive application code review.
  • Maintain architecture AS-IS state.
  • Other tasks relevant to the role given by direct manager and functional manager.

Professional competencies:

  • Prior position in IT Governance/IT Audit – internal audit or external auditing firm.
  • Progressive achievement in more than one of the traditional IT disciplines (architecture, development, infrastructure, IT security and management).
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science
  • Experience managing multinational teams
  • Risk management experience
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Information security standards knowledge
  • Working with best practices for securing computer systems, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal control environments within the IT function.
  • CISA would be an advantage
