WM Business Development unit is created to drive Danske Wealth Management towards adapting the approach and business model to match and exceed changing and ever-growing customer expectations. As a unit, we responsible to define our customer strategy and then create solutions to enable us to give best-in-class advice to customers at the same time ensuring top-notch customer experience.

As an IPO-coordinator in Wealth Advice, Danske Bank House View, you will have responsibility for developing, preparing, coordinating and running retail-oriented marketing and awareness campaigns.

In order to ensure that our retail clients gets the best possible, timely and professional experience of Danske Bank as IPO originator, we seek an IPO-coordinator who can handle and support key in-house stakeholders such as Corporate Finance, Settlements, Communication, IT as well as in Wealth Management.

You will be part of Investment Advice and work closely together with Investments Specialists Equities team and other investment specialist. You will support and develop best in class handling of IPO´s where Danske Bank has been selected as Coordinator and/or Bookrunner.

The Nordic IPO-markets are very lumpy by nature, hence you should expect periods with very intense workloads and deadlines and other periods where you will be reviewing and fine-tuning processes, deliveries and best practices as well as participating in other relevant projects and tasks.

90% IPO Project managing

Ensuring that all key stakeholders are aware of the respective deadlines and tasks they hold in order for you to deliver on the overall IPO-project at hand.

  • 10-15% of the time will be data-planning, -managing and –scoping, sparring with Wealth Management and Corporate Finance on retail-involvement, channel-strategy, managing insider-registrations et.alt.
  • 35-40% of your time will likely be dedicated to planning and ensuring that client-facing communication is prepared and accepted by legal and compliance, that all communication channels have been notified, set-up and ready to launch and that key stakeholders are sufficiently briefed and up-to-date on the IPO.
  • 10-20% will be dedicated to monitoring, sparring and updating on-the-fly changes, special issues and situations with entities like Corporate Finance, Settlements, Markets, Equity Capital Markets, coordinating and setting up of meetings with the dedicated analyst, the company et.alt.
  • 10-20% should be dedicated analyzing, automating, fine-tuning procedures in order for the overall process to be handled as smooth and efficient as possible as well as establishing and maintaining operating procedures.

Over time participate in cross-border knowledge sharing, ensuring that the group leverages on best practice regarding how to handle IPO´s in the respective retail markets.

10% Other project planning

Provide the Management of Danske Bank House View an overview on project within continue improvement planning.

Tool proficiencies:

60% - MS Office tools (Word, Excel etc.)

30% - Bloomberg/Thomson Reuters Eikon

10% - Macrobond

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant (banking or/and wealth management) work experience
  • University degree in Finance/Economics or relevant experience/learning,
  • Experience from project leading and –participation as well as an understanding of/and sincere interest in financial markets, particularly equities.

  • Knowledge to Danish and other Scandinavian languages is preferable but not a requirement
