My name is Marius Kuliešius and I am expanding my IT-Operations openstack platform team and looking for motivated team member who not only implement but are also willing to take the controls and pilot into the great unknown. Your next challenge?

This is a senior role in an area within our company that is growing. Obviously, it is a complex environment with a openstack platform, but this is something that we trust you, as an experienced Linux Administrator with Cloud products knowledge, to embrace and be inspired by. And we will give you clear goals and the mandate and tools to reach them all.

Our team in Vilnius is safeguarding all activities within the service assurance and operations and processes. As a Senior Openstack Administrator you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, tuning and administration of all system infrastructure components to ensure the highest possible availability of managed services.

You are a strong team-player with a service-minded soul who independently will drive your own tasks and deliver on time. We need that combination of team spirit and individual drive as you will work closely with people in your team, but also have a lot of contact with customers and other teams in the organisation.

Your personality:

• Digitally driven;
• Technology loving;
• Deep digging;
• Team spirited.

Your experience:

• You will definitely possess these technical skills – CentOS or RHEL experience;
• Advanced to expert level experience with one or more hypervisors: KVM, VMware, and/or Xen;
• Experience with OpenStack implementation and support from administrator and operator roles;
• Python;
• Shell scripting;
• Monitoring basics;
• Automation basics.

Nice for you to have knowledge:

• LAN basics;
• Storage basics;
• Backup basics.
