Job Description

To interface with business projects to deliver built servers with application(s) for landing on the
Groups Strategic Windows and Citrix infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Carry out server builds for each project and ensure Hardware, Operating System, Storage
  

etc are functioning correctly and the build guides are correct to allow for successful project
implementation;

• Ensure tasks are carried in a timely fashion and details entered correctly via the service
  

centre;

• Raise requests for monitoring, performance, and back up agents to be installed on each built
  

system.

Requirements

• MCSE or MCITP qualified (Windows Server 2003 and above);
  
• Detailed technical knowledge of WINTEL platform, including data centre technologies, such
  

as SAN, LAN/WAN networks, Blades Servers, Net HSMs, IIS & SQL Infrastructure, Citrix
Infrastructure and VMware;

• Citrix Edge sight (Preferred).
  
• Knowledge of Altiris is a big plus.
  
• Working knowledge of ITIL;
  
• Experienced in migration projects is a plus;
  
• Financial Services industry experience is big plus;
  
• Good English skills.
