Workshop Supervisor

Currently we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to lead production team and drive it towards adhering to company goals, objectives and initiatives. Use leadership abilities to contribute safety, productivity and exceptional quality, prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement through collaboration with cross functional teams.

About the job:

• Coach and manage the daily work activities of a production team (accountability for the performance of the team)
• Supervise production employees and drive team towards meeting daily goals and objectives
• Identify areas for development and recommend way to improve processes. Lead any changes that affect the team processes
• Train team members and provide input to performance reviews
• Assist the team with difficult or complex concerns; act as an escalation point of contact
• Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements and work flow
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing existing processes and applying Lean manufacturing techniques and concepts in order to improve production efficiencies, throughput and quality
• Ensure team follows manufacturing documentation and compliance related issues
• Assist with the transfer of new products into production

• Higher technical or management degree
• 2-5 years of equivalent work experience (at least 3 years at a supervisor level)
• Good English language skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions based on an operational assessment

• Salary from 1520 eur/mon. gross, excluding bonus based on performance. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate
