Job Description

  • Responsibility of CIT, VAT, Real Estate, Land Tax reporting (and all needed manual adjustments) with the help of Chief Accountant.
  • Handle tax-related reconciliation, together with CA handle Balance Sheet (quarterly) and PnL (monthly) reconciliation with the help of Chief Accountant.
  • Clean up and review GL accounts regularly.
  • Support month- and year-end closing activities (e.g. actively participate in GL accounts balances review and provide insight).
  • Prepare internal reports, required by colleagues or partners
  • Submit statistical reports and provide support in audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reconciliation with authorities.
  • Communicate with colleagues from different departments on a daily basis by providing them insight from accounting perspective.

Requirements

  • University degree (degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is considered as an advantage)
  • 3–5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and taxation (experience in retail/FMCG would be considered as an advantage).In-depth knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Strong process analytical skills and process improvement capabilities.
  • Good computer skills and general accounting system background (SAP is an advantage).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent Lithuanian and good English  (B2) language skills to be able to work with Baltic teams.
