2nd line Support Engineer (shift work)

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing 24 x7 support for the Global Storage Infrastructure
• Ensuring that all critical events/incidents are fixed in a timely manner for the business to function smoothly
• Handling all events, incidents & applies changes on the Storage Infrastructure using the defined processes & ITIL framework

• 1-2 years working experience in Windows Desktop/Server environment.
• Understanding & experience working on DNS, DFS, Active Directory
• Understanding of Storage Array concept
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Flexibility regarding the working hours
• Understanding of ITIL Foundation
• Troubleshooting on filesystem & user access related issues.
• Troubleshooting on various Storage related issues like storage pool, database issues, path errors, utilization levels & hardware issues

Preferred:
• Good written communication skills while managing the team mailbox & responding to customer queries
• Sound knowledge of Change Management and ITIL best practices
• Ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands
