European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. We operate globally and employ 24 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Poland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. As our new Accountant, you will drive accounting processes for all Lithuanian companies within the EE Group and provide business support to the Lithuanian project team and local office in Lithuania. You will coordinate tasks and topics with external accounting/tax advisors, local authorities, and local controllers, as well as with our Accounting department in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Areas of responsibilities

• Accounting of all Lithuanian companies in the EE Group
• Daily bookkeeping and bank payments
• Financial reconciliation of accounts
• Period end tasks
• VAT, Tax, and other local filings

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor’s degree within Accounting, Finance or similar
• You have 3+ years of experience in general accounting principles and local compliance
• You have good knowledge of ERP systems and experience with Navision and Hyperion is seen as an advantage
• You are skilled at digital local reporting
• You are a superuser in Excel
• You possess strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English

You must have good social, analytical, and communicative skills and be passionate about optimizing current accounting procedures. You are thorough and structured in your way of working and thrive in a high-paced and multidisciplinary environment with high complexity.

Salary Level: Up to 4000 EUR/Gross per month depending on qualifications and experiences
