Job Description

What is the role about? 
As an Area Sales Manager you play a crucial part in the success of the Sales organization. You are the first contact to our customers; you know their needs and ensure we solve their requests with the Endress+Hauser product portfolio. You work closely together with the Internal Sales employees, the Country Manager and the Business Developer of the Region of Europe in order to reach a high customer satisfaction and the Sales targets. 

Which tasks will you perform? 

You will: 

  • be responsible for Order Entry, Net Sales and Gross Profit for a certain customer segment 
  • intensively support in helping generate business opportunities (lead generation) 
  • bring and ensure a strong knowledge of the market, the competition and the processes at Endress+Hauser 
  • establish effective sales channels, considering the entire Endress+Hauser portfolio 
  • follow-up of inquiries and actions all the way to support payment collection 
  • take care of the customers by the active promotion of customer loyalty measures, show that Endress+Hauser is the right partner 
  • support Internal Sales Engineers in daily business and in execution of projects 
  • support, if necessary, in logistical matters, order processing and commercial topics e.g. payment conditions, contract reviews 
  • demonstrate outstanding behaviour according to our vision, mission and credo and follows our Code of Conduct 

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering  
  • Technical competencies in process automation are appreciated 
  • A minimum of five  years of working experience in Sales in a in similar position from an industrial field, ideally in Automation 
  • are fluent in Lithuanian (spoken and written) and very good English skills 
  • possess good knowledge of MS Office pack, MS Dynamics, Navision,  and CRM are beneficial 
  • have a strong customer orientation as well as assertiveness, paired with positive mindset and like to proactively do sales, a well self-managed workstyle and have no problems handling many different tasks at the same time, add value to the company and the customers by your sophisticated negotiation skills 
  • Are a good driver and own a driver license, enjoy being on the road and travel to customers around Lithuania and are willing to travel if needed within Europe
