Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems in our Payments infrastructure;
• Write high-quality, tested, maintainable, and well-documented code that performs well under load;
• Work with payment methods from around the world and integrate new service providers, each with its own code and functionality;
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes to make our development more efficient;
• Collaborate with team members, QA, DevOps, and security teams on day-to-day tasks;
• Take ownership of tasks from start to finish, perform R&D, and find solutions to new and challenging problems;
• Mentor colleagues, provide technical guidance, and continuously learn and grow professionally.

• Proven experience working with Golang;
• Experience working with PHP;
• Proven experience building microservices and knowledge of microservices patterns;
• Understanding of OOP principles and good code design;
• That you know a thing or two about API design;
• Good (My)SQL knowledge;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Redis is a plus;
• That working with Git is nothing new to you.
