Job Description
In 2019, a Berlin based hospitality brand partnered with the internationally renowned gastronomy virtuoso Frederik Bille Brahe and his business partner Tue Byskov Bøtkjær to realize the common vision of a craft bakery in Berlin offering the best bread in the region with locally sourced ingredients and using raw materials. More than a bakery, we aim to create a hub for our community and become a trusted business partner for selected gastronomies. The concept will be the basis for our future gastronomic initiatives in the city.
The bakery is currently under refurbishment and is planned to open in October 2020. It will operate from 7 AM to 7 PM – nightly hours are not expected. We have now started to recruit. At the time being we are searching for a master baker (m/f/d).
Requirements
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated crafts professional for the position of head baker, leading and governing the production side of the bakery. You should have experience with modern baking of bread and pastry - like la Tartine or Chad Robertson style – and minimum three years of experience as leader of a modern bakery.
You should be an open and ambitious master baker who wants to be part of a team consisting of a very skilled baker from San Francisco who has 10 years + experience from bakeries such as Tartine, the mill and Mirabelle Bakery.
