Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will help us understand and grow Vinted’s display advertising business. You’ll work across reporting, forecasting, pricing, inventory planning and performance analysis to improve yield and make our ads business run more smoothly.

You’ll join the Revenue domain as part of the Ads Business Team, where you’ll work closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Product and Finance. Together, this team looks after how Vinted advertising performs across Vinted’s platforms and markets, covering direct deals, programmatic partnerships and open market activity.

In this role, you’ll turn business questions into clear analysis, help shape decisions with data, and support teams with practical insights they can act on. You’ll report into the Ads Business team and collaborate with partners across different functions like Sales, Operations and Product.

In this position, you’ll

  • Turn business questions into clear analysis plans and share useful recommendations with stakeholders
  • Monitor performance across direct and programmatic advertising, including revenue, fill rate, eCPM, delivery, pacing and viewability
  • Spot risks and opportunities in performance and help teams take action
  • Own ad inventory and revenue forecasting across Vinted markets, keeping assumptions clear and forecasts accurate
  • Improve KPI definitions and reporting standards so teams can rely on one clear source of truth
  • Automate recurring reporting, improve data quality and reduce manual work
  • Evaluate pricing and yield levers such as floors, inventory allocation and ad tech partner mix
  • Support commercial decisions with pricing inputs, packaging ideas, deal evaluation and opportunity sizing
  • Work with Ad Operations to investigate delivery and performance issues, identify root causes and recommend fixes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in analytics or business analysis
  • Have experience working with SQL and spreadsheets, and feel confident handling large datasets
  • Have experience building dashboards in tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
  • Have a strong understanding of performance analysis and forecasting
  • Understand core advertising metrics such as revenue, requests, fill rate, eCPM, pacing and viewability
  • Are good at turning unclear questions into structured analysis and clear recommendations
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Finance and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Care deeply about clear reporting, useful insights and making data easier to act on
  • Have strong written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience in ads, media or marketplace businesses is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager and programmatic advertising concepts such as floors, auction dynamics and demand sources is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Python or R for automation is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with data modelling and ETL processes is preferred, but not required
  • Exposure to video advertising measurement and planning is preferred, but not required
