Job Description

IBFG Capital is a specialist provider of bridging loans (short terms mortgages). Standard product offering is up to £5m for a term of up to 24 months across residential & mixed-use as well as light to heavy refurbishment (incl. stage payment lending).  We can offer up to 75% loan to value (LTV) on a short-term basis, which is secured as a first charge against a property or a number of properties depending on the circumstances.

The business is primarily serving UK clients, but you will be joining during an exciting time of expansion into other European jurisdictions.

The role of the business manager is to help the senior management coordinate organisational and administrative matters. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership of administrative matters, e.g. invoice management, meetings coordination and booking
  • Help manage, prepare, update and share agenda, record actions and minutes from steering committees and other key forums
  • Regularly follow up with stakeholders and management to request and record updates on statuses and actions
  • Assist with third parties’ identification and liaison (e.g. accountants, lawyers, IT providers etc.)
  • Take ownership of digital and physical storage and filing set-up (e.g. SharePoint, shared storage drives)
  • Assist in setting up European and in particular LT operations (e.g. office management, contractor management, recruitment)
  • Assist in onboarding new team members (e.g. access rights, equipment procurement, employment matters, training)
  • Help to prepare and coordinate company events (e.g. attendees, flights, hotels, restaurants, activities)

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, or demonstrable relevant transferrable skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-starter with good work ethics
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Occasional travel (EU)
