CFO Analyst / Business Controller

• Key Responsibilities

1.   Strategic  Analysis: DiFinancialve into the financial metrics of startups, delivering insights to the top management of the startups to guide their decision-making.

2.   Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with startups to formulate and refine their budgets and forecasts, ensuring their financial stability and growth potential.

3.   Performance Tracking: Monitor and compare actual financial performance against forecasts, providing actionable insights.

4.   Stakeholder Reporting: Craft detailed and accessible financial reports for diverse stakeholders, from startup leaders, to investors, to selected functional teams of the startups.

5.   Operational Support: Aid the Startup CFO in daily tasks, turning data into visual insights using financial dashboards and KPIs, explore automation opportunities to streamline reporting, and more.

• Must-have Qualifications

·      Proactivity and Growth Mindset: A self-driven interest to learn and improve, able to initiate tasks, and deliver results.

·      Data-Savviness and Data Curiosity: A keen interest in exploring and understanding data to derive actionable insights. Familiarity and comfort with tools like Excel, Power BI, or equivalent analytical tools to analyse and interpret data.

·      Understanding of Financial Concepts: A good grasp and keen interest in diving deep into key financial concepts.

·      Clarity in English: Fluent in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex topics in an accessible manner.

Good-to-have Qualifications (can be developed in the position)

·      Data Integration & Analytical Programming Skills: Basic working knowledge of APIs, Python, SQL, R, or other commonly used data analysis languages.

·      Insight into Startups: An understanding of the startup environment, its challenges, and dynamics.
