Job Description

As a Client Solutions Architect reporting to AVP Head of Client Solutions, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade architecture solutions for Nasdaq's trading and post-trade platforms — enabling clients to make confident, well-informed decisions on every technical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture design, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and client requirements.
  • Identify, document, and manage non-functional requirements and architectural gaps across client engagements.
  • Present technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and client organizations to align on architecture strategy and deliverables.
  • Ensure compatibility and scalability across technologies to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a senior architecture or platform design role.
  • Proven experience designing architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards in complex, distributed environments.
  • Strong skills in technical planning, architecture development, and specification review.
  • Experience defining system requirements and analyzing large-scale, distributed environments.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration, microservices, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Background in building high-availability solutions across on-premises, hybrid, or cloud environments.

  • The base pay for this role is €5,000–€5,700 gross per month, depending on your level of experience.
