Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer (Kubernetes), you will be a key player in our software development and deployment processes. Your primary focus will be on improving availability, cost efficiency, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery processes while ensuring adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements. If you are a problem-solver, a collaborator and a technophile, then this role is perfect for you!

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS

• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions

• Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure

• Design, implement and maintainCI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery

• Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues

• Implement security best practices throughout the processes

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and ELK Stack
• Understanding of microservices approach, containerization
• Strong understanding of AWS design principles, architectural best practices, and industry standards
• Solid experience of web services, databases and relating infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experience supporting high availability environments
• You are a good team player and have excellent english skills
• You are highly motivated and automation oriented

You will be a part of our already functional DevOPS team who have extra free days monthly (i.e Friday's off). There's paid on-call-time based on schedule, currently involving 4 different people.  We are flexible on this position and offer the possibility to work remotely!
