Compliance Officer

• Ensuring that all employees and business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and providing guidance on compliance matters.
• Perform outsourced function control and ensure their meet the quality standards.
• Working closely with various departments to ensure that all business processes and decisions meet compliance requirements.
• Staying up to date with changes in laws and regulations that impact the organization and update policies and procedures accordingly.
• Performing risk assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risk and develop strategies to mitigate said risks.
• Conducting training sessions to educate employees on compliance policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, finance).
• Experience in EMI, bank, law firm in relevant field.
• 2+ year of proven experience in a compliance officer role.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to electronic money institution activities.
• Experience overseeing outsourced functions.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, work under tight deadlines and with sensitive information.
• Fluent Lithuanian and English language skills.

Nice to have skills:

• ICA or ACAMS certification would be an advantage.
• Experience working with crypto.
• Experience working at a company that is required to acquire licenses.
