Conducting regular audits, risk assessments, and providing guidance on compliance matters.
Perform outsourced function control and ensure their meet the quality standards.
Working closely with various departments to ensure that all business processes and decisions meet compliance requirements.
Staying up to date with changes in laws and regulations that impact the organization and update policies and procedures accordingly.
Performing risk assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risk and develop strategies to mitigate said risks.
Conducting training sessions to educate employees on compliance policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, finance).
Experience in EMI, bank, law firm in relevant field.
2+ year of proven experience in a compliance officer role.
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to electronic money institution activities.
Experience overseeing outsourced functions.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects, work under tight deadlines and with sensitive information.
Fluent Lithuanian and English language skills.
Nice to have skills:
ICA or ACAMS certification would be an advantage.
Experience working with crypto.
Experience working at a company that is required to acquire licenses.
