Customer Invoicing Specialist

Job Description

In this role, you will take on key responsibilities related to customer sales invoicing. These tasks include reconciling invoices, rectifying any errors, and handling customer communications via email. As you engage in these duties, you will have the opportunity to develop expertise in invoicing processes and order-delivery chain management. Collaboration will be integral to your role, as you work closely with various teams including Sales, Customer Service, and Credit Control. This collaborative effort ensures best customer experience and streamlines invoicing processes. Your primary focus will be on executing operational invoicing tasks to support Finland and other Marketing & Services markets effectively.

Your role in our team

  • Managing tasks related to sales invoicing and order management.
  • Providing operational support for Finland and other Marketing & Services markets regarding invoicing issues.
  • Contributing to the development of invoicing processes.
  • Actively engaging in collaboration with partners.
  • Participating in testing and documenting invoicing-related projects.
  • Ensuring efficient daily operational work in the invoicing area.
  • Performing various tasks related to sales invoicing and order management, such as monitoring stacks of checks (e.g., uninvoiced items), conducting morning reconciliations, and addressing monthly break matters.
  • Engaging in operative work encompassing daily, weekly, and monthly activities, while being adaptable to fluctuations in workload due to seasonality.
  • Managing time-restricted tasks that require immediate attention and cannot be deferred.

Requirements

Keys to success in this role

  • Higher education qualifications.
  • Experience in back-office operations would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English; fluency in Finnish or Estonian is desirable.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency with Google office tools; familiarity with MS Dynamics/365 is a plus.
  • Demonstrated responsibility and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle routine tasks with tolerance and diligence.
