My name is Jonas Thim, Manager of DevOps Tools team @ Telia CRM & Partner Functions. The team is responsible for the tools within the CI/CD area for Telia IT. Right now, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

You will be part of newly built DevOps Tools team which build and maintain tools with the purpose to enable a DevOps way of working for all developers within Telia Company.
Other responsibilities:
Researching the current state-of-art DevOps tooling;
Learn new technologies daily;
Develop applications using various programming languages and technologies;
Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues;
Analyze system/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes;
Some of your daily tools: GitHub (VCS and CI/CD), Artifactory, Kubernetes, Grafana.

Besides technical IT application maintenance and operations skills, key success factor for new team member is a curiosity and eagerness to learn new things, to be self-organized, structured, adaptive, persistent and willing to take initiative.
If you are an ambitious professional who is a quick learner, willing to take ownership and grow your responsibilities across other countries – I am looking for You.
Your experience:
Technical university degree or comparable work experience within relevant area(s).
Comfortable working in Linux environments;
Scripting automation tasks (Bash/Python).
CI/CD - working with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI or similar;
Familiar with provisioning tools/IaC - Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Terraform etc.
Using/maintaining clusters and high availability applications (Kubernetes).
Network – E.g., load balancing, reverse proxy, and routing.
Non-scripting programming languages and/or frontend development (e.g., Go, Java, Typescript etc.).
Databases – Setting up DB and writing SQL queries.
Comfortable in working internationally and handle English fluently, both in spoken and written form.

Working in this position you will receive a base salary from 3463 Eur to 5195 Eur/month (gross). Plus, annual bonuses which vary, depending on your competencies and your and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
