Drug Safety Associate

Medfiles Group in Lithuania is looking for a Drug Safety Associate, who will have an independent and essential role with a wide variety of drug safety operational tasks and responsibilities, dependent on your level of experience.

• Local pharmacovigilance tasks such as local literature search, legislation monitoring etc.
• Review incoming safety data for completeness
• Entry of data into the safety database (incl. receipt, triage, data entry, MedDRA and WHODrug coding, narrative writing)
• Correct identification of cases requiring targeted follow-up and sending of queries
• Quality check of data entry
• Comply with internal/external timelines for data entry management and escalate identified safety/compliance issues
• Provide operational support to safety experts in local and global pharmacovigilance tasks

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a healthcare related field or Life Science (e.g. Biology, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biochemistry). In lieu of no life science degree, a minimum of 2 years of pharmacovigilance experience is acceptable.
• Good knowledge of medical terminology
• English language skills (fluent written and verbal communication)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication and teamwork, detail orientated and excellent organizational skills.
