About the role

The company is seeking an Electronics Engineer – Developer to join their high-level team working on next-generation laser technologies. The engineer will be responsible for designing fast, high-voltage digital and analog electronics, including:

  • Developing control electronics for laser systems (e.g., processing lasers, spectrometers, nonlinear microscopes);
  • Creating electronics to synchronize laser repetition rates with particle accelerators;
  • Designing electronics to stabilize the electric field of laser light.

The product being developed includes:

  • GHz-range radio/pulsed synchronization electronics for picosecond lasers;
  • Large-scale data collection and processing systems for spectroscopy, using FPGA;
  • High-current (100+ A), high-voltage (2000+ V) electronic circuits.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of electronics: signal processing, noise reduction, wireless communication, power electronics;
  • 3+ years of experience in designing electronic systems from concept to full implementation;
  • Ability to work independently and make design decisions considering system-wide technical limitations;
  • Familiarity with low-level (C) and high-level (Python) programming for testing and validation;
  • Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as SPICE or FEM.

Nice-to-have:

  • Ability to program FPGA;
  • Experience in designing high-frequency, low-noise, stable analog and digital circuits;
  • Educational background in Electronics Engineering, Nanoelectronics, Telecommunications, Photonics and Nanotechnology, Laser Physics or similar. Strong theoretical physics knowledge is a big plus
