• As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work across the embedded software stack of our UAV systems — from microcontroller firmware and hardware integration to Linux-based onboard software.
• Develop and maintain embedded software running on UAV hardware, including both microcontroller-based and Embedded Linux systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain C++ software for embedded platforms and hardware interfaces.
• Develop and maintain system-level and application-level software on Linux-based embedded computers.
• Integrate new hardware components, sensors, communication devices, and other peripherals into UAV systems.
• Support hardware bring-up and diagnose hardware-software interaction issues together with electronics engineers.
• Configure and maintain embedded Linux systems, including services, startup behavior, logging, networking, and system-level configuration.
• Troubleshoot issues across the full system using logs, debugging tools, system behavior, and standard electronics lab equipment.
• Take ownership of software components from implementation and integration through testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance.
• Contribute to tooling, automation, testing, and CI/CD workflows where they improve development and system reliability.
Reikalavimai
• Required: 3+ years of professional experience in embedded software development.
• Required: Strong programming skills in C++.
• Required: Good practical understanding of electronics and hardware-software interaction.
• Required: Experience working with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or other resource-constrained systems.
• Required: Ability to work independently and take ownership of software components.
• Preferred: Experience working with Embedded Linux systems.
• Preferred: Understanding of Linux system configuration, services, startup behavior, logging, networking, and debugging.
• Preferred: Experience with RTOS-based systems.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or custom Linux distributions.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Python for tooling, testing, automation, or application development.
• Nice to Have: Experience with UAVs, robotics, aviation, defense, or other mission-critical systems.
