Engineering Manager, VGo Network

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to build and scale a new portal and API platform, driving technical delivery, supporting team growth, and ensuring high engineering standards while fostering an inclusive environment.

You will join Vinted Go, the logistics arm of Vinted, working on our seller portal that enables partners such as our Recommerce business and charities to manage inventory, orders, and operations at scale. Your team will develop systems that serve as a gateway for these partners’ end-to-end workflows.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in a cross-functional team, reporting to senior engineering leadership and collaborating with other teams to deliver scalable solutions.

In this position, you’ll

• Drive the team’s delivery against the product roadmap, support quarterly planning, and ensure timely and effective execution.
• Stay close to the technical details so you can ensure we efficiently build reliable and scalable software.
• Drive the development of the Seller Portal and API foundations that will enable large accounts to manage their businesses on Vinted.
• Lead technical initiatives to ensure scalability for businesses.
• Partner closely with Product to drive the discovery and technical sequencing for future development.
• Constantly look for ways to improve your team and raise the bar and take full ownership when things go wrong.
• Build and maintain a team of people who trust each other, are committed and accountable, and who care about results.

• Proven experience leading distributed engineering teams.
• Skilled at building high-performing teams, setting clear scope, managing priorities, and successfully driving delivery.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a focus on coaching, growth, and long-term development of team members.
• Comfortable facilitating technical conversations across engineers, product, and wider stakeholders.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-moving environments with changing priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English, able to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels.
