Enterprise IT Architecture is taking a leading role in Telia Company’s transformation journey, modernizing our IT landscape and Ways of Working.

We are seeking Enterprise IT Architects with a strong technical background to help fulfil our commitments towards the units we serve.

Your next challenge?

As an Enterprise IT Architect, you will help define the technology strategy, set targets and follow up the planning and execution of initiatives that work towards realizing them. The team manages a functional portfolio of all IT initiatives across Telia Company as well as architecture standards, methods and best practices for systems and applications that are both in-house developed and procured.

The role operates beyond IT system design and integration; it is about driving business change and working with people, processes, and technology to perform fundamental activities of the business in both current and future states.

You will be working in virtual cross-functional teams, partnering with colleagues from different parts of the business, IT architects and other technology teams, where you will identify standards and analyze technology trends to develop reference architectures and roadmaps that guide the evolution of our products and services. You will lead and coordinate the technical and business discussions relative to a future architecture direction across multiple teams or complex product lines.

Furthermore, you will provide guidance and direction to delivery teams to ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology.

Your experience:

• Strong enterprise IT architecture design experience (5-10 years) with focus on large-scale solution and enterprise architecture design
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing business environment
• Extensive experience with requirements gathering, understanding business needs and system design
• Experience with enterprise modelling and software development, preferably hands-on
• Experience managing IT vendor relationships
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience
• Experience with the telecommunications sector is a plus
