Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and adaptive Project Manager to lead the delivery of initiatives supporting compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive across multiple jurisdictions and business units. This role will be responsible for orchestrating a complex, cross-functional project spanning Reward, HR, Legal, Compliance & Risk, and Technology, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements and timelines.

The ideal candidate will excel in navigating ambiguity, translating regulatory requirements into actionable plans, and driving execution across diverse stakeholder groups. You will play a critical role in ensuring consistent implementation of pay transparency, pay equity, and reporting capabilities across global delivery locations, while accommodating local legislative nuances.

This role is essential in enabling Business (HR/Reward/Compliance) and Technology Leads to deliver compliant, scalable solutions. You will be accountable for managing project execution, governance, timelines, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring that regulatory obligations are met with strong data integrity, audit readiness, and minimal operational disruption.

You will report to our Head of Rewards and will act as a key driver of regulatory transformation, ensuring that the organisation is fully prepared for EU Pay Transparency requirements and ongoing compliance.

  • Lead delivery of EU Pay Transparency Directive initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment with regulatory timelines and requirements.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into execution plans, managing evolving scope and country-specific nuances while bringing clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Reward, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology) to deliver consistent, compliant solutions across geographies.
  • Oversee pay equity data, reporting, and systems implementation, ensuring data accuracy, robust governance, GDPR compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively escalating and mitigating regulatory, data, and employee relations risks.
  • Drive governance, reporting, and change management, including executive updates, stakeholder communications, and transition to sustainable BAU processes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Reward, HR Transformation, or Regulatory Change programmes.
  • Proven track record delivering multi-country regulatory or HR transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with EU labour laws, pay equity or transparency regulations highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with GPG reporting, job evaluation frameworks, reward benchmarking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • External project management certification such as Agile/Scrum, Prince2, Six Sigma or other certification. Training in adaptive/agile methodologies highly valued.
  • Overall, 8-12 years’ experience in complex, multi-national matrix environments including 5+ years of experience in managing projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with project management tools and proficient in PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, MS Teams for efficient tracking and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, payroll and compensation systems.
  • Experience with data governance, GDPR, and handling sensitive employee data.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational actions.
  • IT experience helpful – basic understanding of Tech, App and Network infrastructure.
  • Strong Project Management skills;expert in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from start through implementation.
  • Understanding of Project & Transition Management frameworks,principles,procedures and best practices.
  • Regulatory interpretation and problem-solving skills to navigate complex and dynamic project environments.
  • Exceptional communication for cross-cultural stakeholder management.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making.
