Finance Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for providing inputs and analysis of financial performance. The role will support the Tallinn Plant and Finance function, including actively participating in Finance Continuous Improvement Processes. 

The main tasks are:

• Month end close tasks and reporting, incl providing input to monthly accruals;
• Weekly business forecast updates;
• Monthly cost follow-up reports for operations management team and variance analysis;
• Participating in forecasting and budgeting processes: support managers with their inputs, analyzing the deviations and ensuring correct reporting;
• Ensure accurate product cost allocation. Analyze product gross margin and identify opportunities to improvement, and follow up with operations leaders to drive improvement;
• Run yearly Standard Cost update, and maintain Standard Costs during the year;
• Ensuring that reporting in Power BI is accurate and in accordance to business needs.

What makes you great:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in business administration or equivalent background and at least 3-year experience as (Production) Controller in international company;
• Experience and solid understanding of the monthly close process in a multinational company;
• Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze, translate and communicate complex financial data into meaningful insights to support decision making;
• Experience with product costing and profitability analysis in operations;
• Excel is essential and experience in Onestream, JD Edwards and Power BI, IT systems/applications are preferred.
