Financial Data Analyst (Russian language)

The Financial Data Analyst role provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution towards the success of the ratings teams through support in financial analysis and discrete projects. FDAs primarily support Corporate Finance and Infrastructure Lines of Business:

• The FDA uses accounting and finance knowledge and judgement to perform financial statement analyses, adjust reported data per relevant methodology requirements and analyse ratios
• Work directly with Ratings and Support Analysts to explain data, adjustments and other information needed by the rating team
• Liaise with Analysts, Knowledge Managers and Accounting Specialists to understand the application of accounting concepts on a particular entity
• Review, adjust and publish data to external market participants
• Work on technology projects, accounting changes, documentation updates and implementation of process improvements
• FDA position provides an opportunity to foster skills required for any future career in the financial sector.

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is considered as an advantage (can include internship experience)
• Good English skills(written and spoken)
• Russian language is required. Reading skills are especially important, strong writing and speaking skills are optional
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and particularly Excel
• B.A. or B.S. degree is required, specializations in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is desirable.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
