Job Description

Execute the accounting processes for the generation of the Financial Statements (FFS) in compliance with the globally established policies and standard procedures, coordination with information providers to achieve the agreed quality and times; as well as the analysis of the FFS to assess their reasonableness in collaboration with In-Market financial leaderships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Record journal entries and maintain necessary General Ledger adjustments according to established SLAs.
  • Perform account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze balance sheet accounts for accuracy and investigate any suspicious transactions.
  • Execute period-end closing activities ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for market review and analysis.
  • Process and maintain fixed assets and prepaid expense modules in line with accounting standards and policies.
  • Prepare required data and support internal and external audits, liaising with auditors.
  • Resolve client queries and disputes, escalating issues as needed.
  • Meet goals, objectives, and KPIs for accounting processes within agreed SLAs.
  • Participate in month-end closing and internal control activities, including risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and resolve system interface issues.
  • Actively contribute to new projects and system implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of overall professional experience.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in Lithuanian and English (minimum A2 level) is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Navision, Concur, Basware, Coupa, and Manage Engine is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in Shared Services, FMCG companies, and the Automotive industry is highly valued, along with proven ability to work effectively in multinational and multicultural environments.
