I am Aki Silvennoinen and I am leading the Converged Access unit in Networks Systems & Delivery. I am excited about the journey we have embarked on 5G & fiber era and I believe Converged Access plays a key role in making it a success. My team and I are looking for a Senior Manager to lead unit and join the Converged Access Analytics and Performance Insights unit leadership squad.
The role of the Converged Access in Telia is to be accountable and responsible of evolution, design, development, operations and life-cycle management of radio and fixed access networks. Our objectives are to design, develop, operate and manage innovative and high quality and cost-efficient systems that enable products to offer best value to our customers.
You will:
- lead a key competence area in our transformation to a more efficient Telecom
- be enabling automation in our network systems
- be creating analytical capabilities to support the decision-making process
- be developing radio network optimization tool (SON)
Moreover, you will also be responsible for the overall governance of these areas, supporting the strategy creation and handling stakeholders within – and outside – the organization. You will be leading of team of senior experts in multiple Telia countries. You are a key member of the Converged Access Leadership Team and will support Head of Converged Access in our ongoing change journey.
It is a job that calls for someone who understands the development and operation processes around our physical access network functions and systems and has a successful track record of leading teams automating these processes. In addition, you have had a key role enabling analytical insights that supported a data-based approach to the network development and operations. Your contribution will be central, and you will have a great opportunity to influence the work that Telia Company is doing.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Key person in development of Self-Organizing Networks (SON) tool for Telia radio networks markets
- Drive access network operational process automation
- Accountable Product manager in part of our Agile Release Train
- Competence management according to long term plans

Your experience:
- Previous experience in leading development team
- Detailed understanding of the processes addressing the areas of network design, planning, and operations
- Experience in defining technical requirements, scoping activities, and managing a product backlog according to SAFe framework
- Experience developing a access network automation solutions incl. SON
- Ability to work with both short-term and long-term objectives, involving the big picture as well as implementation details
- Successfully cooperated and aligned with relevant parts of other departments
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and one of the Nordic or Baltics languages

For candidates from Lithuania: salary range - from 4866 to 7300 EUR/Month (this is a reference range; exact salary would depend on your competences).
