Job Description

Eliq currently processes billions of data points from energy meters and sensors within the smart energy space. We see a great opportunity to strengthen our position within data science with focus on machine learning and behaviour science.

As a Head of Data Science you will be responsible for our data science vision and strategy. This includes picking the right tools and technologies, as well as implementing new solutions. 

Some of the solutions we currently have in our platform includes energy disaggregation of appliances, clustering of similar homes, anomaly detections, forecasting, personalised energy advice and more.

Eliq is currently setting up a new office in Vilnius with focus on data science and part of your job will be to act as a team lead for that growing team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years technical experience from a data science / machine learning environment in a big data enterprise environment


• The ability to think about technology in conjunction with business, customer and market needs today and into the future


• Knowledge and passion for current technologies and emerging trends in order to build a leading edge platform


• At least 1 year experience leading technical teams


• At least 5 years technical experience from a data science / machine learning environment in a big data enterprise environment
