Head of Data Sciences

• Leading and managing the Data Sciences team.
• You will be responsible for the technical and analytic thinking and delivery of our work for our clients to drive increased value from their data assets. 
• You will have proven superior capability in assessing the underlying business challenges, accurately defining the problem statement and identifying the appropriate analytical methods and solutions by which their data can be transformed into insight and analytic applications.   
• Understanding the client’s sector challenges, business objectives and designing the appropriate analysis methodologies and solutions to meet these. 
• Supporting the Partner team in pre-sales activities, presentations and meetings. 
• Taking the lead for approach design and planning for sales proposals. 
• Developing detailed work plans and briefs with which to support the Partner team in understanding requirements and key success factors of each project. 
• Managing the Technical Delivery Team, the resource requirements and scheduling required for each project. 
• Leading as well as undertaking the analyses required for clients from the data aggregation, profiling, model development through to the visualisation and communication of results. 
• Identifying key insights and demonstrating these clearly through thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders. 
• Leading the continuous development (and training of the business) of best practice analytics methods and quality controls. 
• Identifying new product development and automation opportunities that will support the BA business objectives. 
• Managing the analytical elements projects and workloads of the Data Sciences team to ensure timely and profitable delivery. 
• Developing and delivering client and data science related case studies and training material for the benefit of the wider business. 
• Being a role model for junior members of the company. 
• Manage and meet targets for accurate and on time delivery of projects
• Manage and improve client experience ratings through the delivery of best in class Data Science and Analysis
• Maintain awareness and interest in emerging technologies
• QA Data science proposed solutions to ensure in keeping with Beyond Analysis processes and quality standards
• Manage the training requirements of the Data Science and Consulting teams

• You will have experience of leading a team of Data Scientists.
• Experience in an agency/professional services or client environment 
• Hands-on application of predictive modelling, data mining and data manipulation techniques 
• Specialist in understanding the analytical methods by which data can be used for insight, how this is articulated and delivered to sponsors, and how this can be best leveraged for the business (deeper Consumer understanding, Marketing optimisation, etc) 
• Basket level analysis experience 
• Self-starter with strong appreciation of the value of data 
• Proven superior capability in providing analytical solutions to unstructured data 
• Good business acumen 
• Strong communication skills (oral and written), particularly in rendering complex data outcomes to a non-technical audience 
• Strong administrative and reporting skills 
• Process-oriented, excellent at identifying business areas for improvement 
• Good management information visualisation 
• You will have in depth experience in data management and curation and the latest techniques for developing predictive models, and segmentations.  
• You will have proven hands on experience with SQL and Python/R. 
• You will have experience of working with, guiding and mentoring less experienced analysts to support you in your client work.
