Head of Finance and accounting (Finansų ir apskaitos vadovas)

The Head of Finance and Accounting will oversee all financial and accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.

This role will develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

The person in this position will establish and maintain internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.

On a day-to-day basis, the Head of Finance and Accounting will lead and mentor a small finance team, analyze financial performance, provide insights to management, and partner with other departments to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.

In the long term, this role will support bringing the company into an international group. This role works closely with the company's owners in the UK.

• Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to oversee end-to-end financial management and support strategic decision-making. Experience working with difficult cases is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and presentation to leadership and external partners.
• Experience in Budgeting and financial planning, including forecasting, cost control, and cash flow monitoring.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role, preferably in a corporate or fast-growing environment.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations in Lithuania or the EU.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
• Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience working with foreign corporate groups is an advantage.

• Salary range: 4 500 – 6 000 EUR Bruto;
