Job Description

You’ll step into a department with the scale, talent, and ambition to grow not only the Cybernews brand on YouTube, but also channels across wellness, finance, and other verticals - strengthening performance across the portfolio, opening new business opportunities, and turning audience growth into meaningful revenue impact.

You are a goal and revenue-driven YouTube leader who knows how to grow channels, build strong teams, and scale results. You love YouTube, understand what makes content win, and know how to turn audience growth into real business impact.

You’re confident leading through team leads, building high-performing structures, and aligning different functions behind a shared direction. Alongside the YouTube team, you’re comfortable overseeing editorial and social media functions that play a key role in shaping the Cybernews brand. You’re excited by both the creative and commercial side of the business, and motivated by the opportunity to lead an established brand into its next stage of growth.

  • Lead the YouTube department with full ownership of brand growth, channel performance, revenue, and long-term market position
  • Define and drive the overarching YouTube strategy, translating business goals into clear priorities, scalable growth plans, and high-impact execution
  • Provide strategic leadership across the broader content ecosystem, overseeing senior editorial leadership and partnering closely with the social media function to ensure strong brand alignment, consistent quality, and sustainable growth across platforms
  • Lead and develop team leads and senior creatives, building a high-performing organization with clear accountability and strong execution standards
  • Sustain the operating model, processes, and decision-making frameworks needed to support high-quality content production at scale
  • Identify emerging trends, audience shifts, and whitespace opportunities, and convert them into scalable content formats and new growth avenues
  • Build a repeatable approach to testing new concepts, evaluating performance, and scaling successful initiatives
  • Use data, KPIs, experimentation, and performance insights to make high-quality decisions and continuously improve results
  • Ensure the department is set up to deliver both short-term performance and long-term brand and business impact

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large content, media, or YouTube teams at department level
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing team leads and building high-performing teams
  • A track record of driving revenue growth and delivering against ambitious business targets
  • Strong analytical thinking and confidence working with metrics, experiments, and performance insights
  • Deep understanding of YouTube strategy, content performance, audience growth, and monetization
  • Experience building systems, processes, and feedback loops that improve execution and results at scale
  • Ability to make sound decisions, back them with clear logic, and focus on outcomes, not just activity
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working across creative, marketing, and analytics teams
  • A proactive, ambitious, and results-driven mindset, with genuine curiosity about YouTube, audiences, and platform trends

  • From 6300 EUR/month. Salary offers are based on the candidate's experience. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
