IB Chemistry and Physics / HS General Science Teacher

 The IB Chemistry and Physics Teacher delivers a rigorous science curriculum thatprepares students for IB assessments and fosters scientific reasoning and inquiry. Theideal candidate would be able to teach HS General science classes including 9th and 10thgrade integrated science as well as Physics and Chemistry 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach integrated science, IB Chemistry, and/or IB Physics.
• Plan and deliver lessons that encourage scientific inquiry and problem-solving.
• Guide students in scientific research and preparation for IB assessments.
• Foster mentoring relationships with students and collaborate on interdisciplinaryprojects. 

•  Strong foundation in chemistry and physics.
• Ability to engage students in scientific reasoning and experiential learning.
• Familiarity with IB assessment and instructional standards. 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience.
• International or IB school setting would be anadvantage.
• Experience with project-based, inquiry, and experiential learning to foster deep,student-centered engagement.
• Proficiency in English and familiarity with international school settings.
