Job Description

Summary of role: Independently create quotations for Customers and ensure requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and in time. Proactive quotes follow up with full customer contact with the goal to receive the order.

Principle job responsibilities:

  • Review the Request for Quote
  • Contact customers (via email and phone) and collaborate with outside sales to understand customer requirements
  • Size and select the products according to requirements and application
  • Select the appropriate technical documentation
  • Specify a delivery time for the selected products
  • Proactively follow up quotes using the Consultative Selling methodology
  • Verify the purchase order and ensure clean order handover to Order Fulfilment
  • Act as a liaison between customers - sales offices – factories
  • Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of products and applications
  • Generate activity reports
  • Think Customer and act as One Emerson

Requirements

Required qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical or Process Engineering
  • At least 2-years’ experience in technical sales & marketing or technical sales support functions
  • Relevant knowledge of the process industry
  • Languages: English, Lithuanian – advanced level (mandatory). Russian would be an asset
  • PC skills: MS Office, Internet. Knowledge of CRM systems would be an asset
